Hi everyone!
Welcome to my page. This page will mostly cover ASL services (and then some) by me in the Mid-Coast area. I will also post my class offerings, social events and resources both state and nationwide!
I provide fun and engaging in person classes, and have taught a wide diverse group of students, from babies to senior citizens!
My experiences in both the Deaf and hearing community allow me to provide a comfortable learning space for all. I grew up near Bangor without ASL and was fortunate to attend Gallaudet University and learn not only ASL, but about Deaf Culture as well. This provided me a foundation for becoming a leader, advocate and role model to other Deaf people.
As a Taurus, I have always been a resourceful person and look forward to providing that on a more frequent basis for my students.
I have 5 teaching certifications that range from Pre-K, Deaf Education, Special Education, ASL , and Yoga ! My Maine endorsements are 029, 282, 292, and 455. My national endorsement is from American Sign Language Teachers Association at the certified level.
Grateful that I will be able to provide my services right here in Belfast, Maine where I can provide a comfortable learning space for all.
